(Rua Oscar Freire)If you are going to spend a few days in São Paulo, the obligatory shopping appointment passes through Rua Oscar Freire(Cerqueira Césa neighborhood in Jardins) between the Casa Branca mall and Doutor Arnaldo Avenue (Pinheiros neighborhood). On this street you will find a good number of Brazilian brands in clothing and footwear , as well as Italian and North American brands. Highly recommended to make stops at your national brands , starting with the Havaianas space, where you can find any type of model and color, both for women, men and children. You have a section to customize your flip flops, and you will end up taking more than one pair since the prices are very good.

Other three mandatory stops are the Arezzo shoe stores (modern and colorful lines with prices starting at € 60 at change); Schutz , where you can find high-quality and quite modern designs (followed by fashion bloggers  the California blogger Song of Style has designed for this firm and is common in its designs  models and trendsetters . In New York they have a good number of establishments of this brand), the prices range from € 70 – € 80. From the same group as Schutz, it is Alexandre Birman’s local, with very careful designs in the purest Manolo Blahnik style .

Without forgetting at any time the shoe brand made with plastic Melissa , in this street you will be able to find its  spectacularly decorated gallery , just to see it, it is worth getting here. It is likely that the designs of this footwear firm are more designed to seek spectacularity than practicality, but it is a luxury to enjoy their originality, both for women (see the collections of their collaborations with Jason Wu, Salinas, Vivienne Westwood or Karl Lagerfeld ) and for children (see his Mini Melissa collection based on designs with bows, fruits, pieces of chocolate, animals, bows, etc).

Another store to stop at is  Cavalera , belonging to the musician Igor Cavalera of the Brazilian thrash metal band Sepultura , a real surprise, both for the design of its collection for men and women, as well as for the decoration of the store, a whole wink to music . The best are the designs of the t-shirts (with prices with medium-high).

Make a stop at Brigaderia , a patisserie to recharge your batteries with pleasure, both in the products and in the design of the premises. You will be able to find this brand all over São Paulo.

Other Brazilian firms that you will be able to find along this street are: Adriana Degreas, Carina Duek, Cecilia Dale, Cris Barroso  or 284 Brasil ; the North American American Apparel, Brooksfield, Calvin Klein, Levi’s, Ed Hardy, Kate Spade ; the Italian Roberto Cavalli ; or the recurring ones, Diesel, Dior, Gant or Louis Vuitton.
