Mara Hoffman’s Spring 2013 Collection Spiced up NY Fashion Week
Chilling weather preceding fall and winter time has approached, but the warmth of Mara Hoffman’s lovely collection has the power to snatch them away. Bright palette and asymmetric prints are two main focuses in this collection.
Neon turquoise, blue, yellow, red, green, orange and other colors are combined artistically in the collection. Dominated with cropped tee and dress, the collection is pretty much like the paintings that wrapped beautifully.
With the sound from ukulele, Mara Hoffman brings tropical Hawaii attire to New York while presenting her beach-ready collection for Spring 2012. Breezy pink column dress with coral accents, side cutout light blue gown and other bold-colored interesting swimwear, dresses, gowns and even caftan are paraded in the runway.
In the middle of neutrals and pastels color dominating the days in NY Fashion Week, no wonder Mara Hoffman, who works with Taylor Patterson of Fox Fodder Farm for the Spring 2013 collections, received round applauses from the audience due to her unique and daringly optimistic collections.
The statement brought by Mara Hoffman is not only conveyed through her bold use of color, but also in the bare midriff in her bikini and bralette tops. Unlike this new collection, the Spring 2012 collection focused on Bohemian Style with the title of “Mexican Mamas” used more neutral and soft colors. The red line between the 2012s and 2013s collection is the ethnic touches. Dramatic and strikingly unique designs are indeed the characteristic of Mara Hoffman’s collections.
Mara Hoffman’s unique translation of nature and colors are undoubtedly interesting things to wait in runway. Sounds from Ukulele, palm leaves attached in the hair of model walk in the runway and her attention-stealing collection has successfully spiced up the runway of New York Fashion Week held on September 6-13.
